How does maintenance happen?

Generally, Co-operatives undertake responsive and cyclical maintenance for their tenantsĀ and Common Equity manages major maintenance such as refurbishments and upgrades.

Common Equity manages a number of Community properties directly and undertakes all maintenance for these properties.

How do I report a maintenance issue?

For Co-operative Properties

Tenant members living in a Co-operative should report all maintenance issues to their Co-operative’s Maintenance Officer. Your Maintenance Officer will then co-ordinate tradesmen to complete the repair for you, or liaise with Common Equity if needed.

Maintenance Officers can request assistance at any time from the Common Equity Property Team by calling a Property Officer on 02 9356 9220 (during office hours) or email maintenance@commonequity.com.au.

For Community Properties (Directly Managed)

Tenants of directly managed Community properties should report all maintenance issues to the Common Equity Property Team on 02 9356 9220 (during office hours) or email maintenance@commonequity.com.au.
