CENSW Water Efficiency Pilot Program

Four Cooperatives have been selected to partake in a special water saving program.

Our maintenance contractors will be carrying out the water efficiency program, which will include:

• Measuring the water flow in kitchen & bathroom, sink, basin/vanity & shower (Water should not flow more than 9L per minute)
• Installing aerators and restrictors where flow is over 9 litres/minute
• Checking all internal and external taps & toilets for leaks
• Replacing washers where necessary
• Visual checks of Hot Water Systems

Dual Flush Toilets

In an effort to reduce water wastage CENSW is happy to assist cooperatives in upgrading their single flush toilets to either a dual flush toilet or to make more water efficient by the installation of a weight in the cistern. Energy Audit

CENSW is in the process of investigating a discounted rate for all of their energy accounts. Should we succeed in getting a better deal than our current rates, we would like to offer this benefit to all cooperatives.
